Learn math and reading
while learning kitchen skills
Come to Turn the Page and join others in selecting, reading, and creating recipes. Each student will participate in reading, converting measurements, measuring, and creating a snack of the day. We will be working on our reading, comprehension, and math skills the most enjoyable way: cooking and eating! Each child should bring a container to bring home leftovers. If your child has a food allergy, let me know at the time of registration, and we will avoid using those foods.
Math Bridge

After ending the school year, let’s get caught up on what we might have missed and get a jump on math skills! During camp, your child will review the spring numeration and math concepts such as money, time, measurements, and geometry… all while having fun and socializing with friends!
We will reinforce and build upon existing skills and increase confidence for a successful new year school year. Join us for a week of FUN, ENGAGING, and HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES.
Reading Bridge

After ending the school year, let’s get a jump start on reading skills! During camp, your child will learn sight words, vocabulary, and phonics as well as increase fluency rate and strengthen comprehension skills… all while having fun and socializing with friends!

Come join Turn the Page, and strengthen your study skills through five interactive lessons:
- Goal setting and overview of topics for the cycle
- Discovering your learning style and how you are smart (multiple intelligences)
- Time management, prioritication of tasks, and importance of repeated practice
- Note-taking and notebook organization
- Test prep and conquering test anxiety
